The lowest temperature – 3 degrees – was recorded on the peak of Doi Inthanon in Chom Thong district. Chiang Mai provincial office head Patthanida Sadudee said thousands of villagers in Omkoi’s six sub-districts as well as Fang’s Mae Ngon and Mon Pin sub-districts had been affected, and warm clothing had been dispatched for those affected in Fang district.
