Expressway toll fee to be waived from Dec 27

The Cabinet approved the waiver of toll fees for the Bangna-Chon Buri and Bangna-Suksawad expressways, starting from 1am of December 27 to midnight of January 3.
During the period, a number of 1.25 million vehicles are expected to use the expressways.
The Expressway Authority of Thailand estimates a loss of revenue worth Bt48.86 million. However, benefits of the waiver worth Bt22 million included the value of time saving, aside from a cut in carbon emission at toll booths.
