Suthep Thaugsuban, secretary-general of the People's Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC), yesterday led protesters on a march along Lat Phrao Road as part of his campaign inviting people to shut down Bangkok.
Suthep and Issara Somchai, a PDRC leader at Lat Phrao Intersection, led the crowd from the five-way junction, calling on people to join the anti-government protest movement.
Another group of PDRC protesters from Chaeng Wattana Road, led by Luang Pu Buddha Isara, joined the Lat Phrao demonstration.
From the intersection, the marchers headed along Phahonyothin Road to Ratchayothin Intersection. They then went to Kasetsart Intersection before returning to Phahonyothin Road.
