FREETOWN (AFP) - Sierra Leone has ordered the quarantine "with immediate effect" of three districts and 12 tribal chiefdoms, affecting 1.2 million people, in the largest lockdown in west Africa in the deadly Ebola outbreak.
"Port Loko, Bombali and Moyamba districts are isolated with immediate effect," President Ernest Bai Koroma said in a televised address to the nation late Wednesday.
