Abhisit warns govt to speed up economic revival

Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva Sunday warned the government to speed up efforts to revive the economy or else the post-coup administration would it difficult to stay on.
He said the economic woes were caused by the falling prices of agricultural products that reduced the people’s purchasing power.
If the government manages to tackle the economic woes, the administration and the junta would find it easier to stay on to solve other problems.
