The National Anti-Corruption Commission Tuesday resolved to ask the Finance Ministry to sue former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra for compensation over damage caused by the rice-pledging scheme.
NACC chairman Parnthep Klanarongrarn said the compensation would be Bt600 billion in line with a finding by a Finance Ministry panel found that the scheme had caused that amount of damage to the state.
