SATURDAY, MARCH 14, 2015

Bangkok (dpa) - Thai police arrested an activist protesting against the military court process Saturday in Bangkok. Pansak Srithep, 48, was demanding that a pending case of his be tried in civilian criminal court rather than by a military tribunal.

He and three others are facing charges of staging an unlawful protest on February 14. Thailand has been under the martial law since a coup in May. Any political movements and public demonstrations are prohibited.
