Thailand to host Iwf Youth World Weightlifting Championships in 2017
Thailand won the bid to host the 2017 IWF Youth World Weightlifting Championships, which are due to be held at the Hua Mark Indoor Stadium from April 1 to 9.
The world meet has been regarded as the qualification tournament for the 3rd Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2018.
Thailand and the USA were the last two countries to battle it out for the bid and the IWF General Assembly in Lima, Peru decided to vote for Thailand to host the world meet.
