BMA to collect samples from over 200 ice, drinking water plants

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration will dispatch officials to collect samples from over 200 ice-making and drinking water plants in 50 Bangkok districts, Khachit Chatwanit, deputy director of the BMA's Health Department said Wednesday.
The Food and Drug Administration has sought the BMA help to collect the samples for checking to ensure that the plants’ operations are up to the Good Manufacturing Practice’s hygiene standard, he said.
