Donations to Nepal are tax-deductible
Thailand's Revenue Department has announced that donations of cash and supplies to Nepal are tax-deductible, if such donations meet the following criteria.
Eligible individuals must make cash donations through Krungthai Bank's Account: 067-0-10330-6 (Thai Compassion to Nepal) or through established entities like TV stations or Federation of Thai Industries Foundation. Receipts from the entities are necessary.
Corporate donators can also deduct their corporate income tax, but the amount must not exceed 2 per cent of the net profit. VAT on donated items will also be waived.
