Cabinet approves reshuffle for Interior Ministry

THE CABINET yesterday approved the promotion of Krissada Boonrat, director-general of the Provincial Administration Department, to permanent secretary of the Interior Ministry.
Eight more senior officials from the ministry were reshuffled, including three deputy permanent secretaries – Maitree Inthusut to director-general of the Community Development Department; Jarin Jakkrapak to director-general of the Local Administration Promotion Departmentl and Apinan Suethanuwong to director-general of the Lands Department.
Arthit Boonyasophat, governor of Samut Sakhon and an acting deputy permanent secretary, replaces Krissada as director-general of the Provincial Administration Department.
Chayapol Thitisak, governor of Nakhon Sawan; Natthapong Sirichana, governor of Narathiwat; Sutthipong Chulacharoen, governor of Chainat; and Prateep Kiratilekha, governor of Ubon Ratchathani all will return to the ministry as deputy permanent secretaries.
