Prayut was told that the Pa Sak dam still held 40.18 million cubic metres or four per cent of capacity. It received water at 25 cubic metres per second or 2.17 million cubic metres per day but released about 1 million cubic metres of water per day.
Prayut, accompanied by Interior Minister Anupong Paojinda and Natural Resources and Environment Minister Dapong Ratanasuwan, also inspected the dam’s “monkey cheek” water retention area project around the dam to increase water storage capacity by another 46 million cubic metres.
