Thai shares up as outflow concerns ease

The Stock Exchange of Thailand index edged up Friday in line with regional movements, following the US Federal Reserve Board's decision to maintain rates.

At 3.21pm, the index gained 1.33 points or 0.10 per cent to 1,391.03 points.
Kasikorn Securities expected the index to move in the range of 1,350-1,370 points in the near future, before moving up in line with domestic economic indicators. Yet, volatility is expected to return around November, ahead of the next Fed meeting during December 15-16.
