Rajabhakti Park project found to use Bt60m of state budget

Three key authorities have found that the scandal-plagued Rajabhakti Park project has used more than Bt60 million of state budget.

Before this, several government figures had tried to suggest that the project used donations – not state budget – and thus might not fall into the jurisdictions of several anti-graft agencies.
Justice Minister General Paiboon Koomchaya Friday disclosed that he had heard from the Office of the Auditor General, the National Anti-Corruption Commission and the Office of Public Sector AntiCorruption Commission that more than Bt60 million of state budget had gone into the project.
