Former Mahidol dentistry lecturer says she intended to repay scholarship

Dr Dolrudee Jumlongras, who came under social media storms for failing to honour her scholarship contract with Mahidol University, has written to Nation TV insisting she intended to repay her scholarship to the university.
She said when finished her study at the Harvard University, she was in financial difficulty so she requested flexibility to repay her scholarship but her request was rejected.
She made headlines in Thailand and came under strong attacks by Thai social networkers after one of her four guarantors disclosed that he and three other guarantors had to pay over Bt10 million back to the government on her behalf.
Nation TV wrote to her twice on January 31 and February 1 and she replied at 11 pm on Wednesday Bangkok's time.
