Thailand mulls bilateral security cooperation with Russia, according to Deputy Prime Minister Gen Prawit Wongsuwan.

Upon his return from a visit to Russia, Prawit said that he discussed details of the cooperation with the Russian prime minister and Russia's national security council.
Initially, there would be a joint working committee, he said, to handle issues particularly terrorism threats and international crimes.
He said there were no talks on arms purchases.
