Germany backs child support foundation in Pattaya
The German government has donated 60,000 euros (about Bt2.4 million) to a children’s rights non-government group in Pattaya to support their cause.
German Ambassador Peter Prugel handed a check to Human Help Network Foundation Thailand to help fund its “Promotion and Protection of Children’s Rights” project.
Foundation director Radchada Chomjinda thanked the ambassador and gave him and his wife an overview of the project and a tour through the centre. The ambassador and his wife were greeted by 60 children who benefit from the project.
The foundation, started in 2008, aims to fight trafficking and abuse, plus help children in desperate need.
