A Muslim village headman was shot and killed by insurgents in Narathiwat’s Si Sakhon district Tuesday.

Police said Abdulroseh Jeha, 48 was riding his motorcycle to visit a suspected insurgent to tell him to surrender, when he was ambushed and gunned down at 1:20 pm.
