Garage owner linked to vintage car scandal seeks legal help

The owner of a garage who allegedly sold a vintage Mercedes-Benz to Somdej Chuang, the Wat Paknam abbot and acting Supreme Patriarch, asked the Justice Ministry yesterday to provide him with a lawyer and to pay his court fees, plus witness protection expe

Wicharn Rattaphana said he had nothing to do with the allegedly illegal registration of the car. He said his business was merely repairing classic cars and he had no connection to the forged documents in the case. 
He said he did not legally own the car so he couldn’t take possession of it. He said all garages involved should be sued, not just his – if there had been wrongdoing.
