More than Bt100 bn reserved for Songkran withdrawals

Commercial banks have reserved cash worth over Bt100 billion for withdrawals during the Songkran festival, which will run from April 12 to April 17.
Among them is Bangkok Bank which stocks up a total of Bt45 billion for over 9,500 ATMs across the country. Meanwhile, all 330 micro branches at shopping centres across the country will stay open during the period.
Kasikornbank reserves Bt36 billion for withdrawals through 9,332 ATMs and branches nationwide. Of total, Bt15.9 billion is reserved for withdrawals in Bangkok and the rest is for other provinces.
