Sa Kaew police intercept 26 Cambodians

Sa Kaew police Tuesday intercepted two pickup trucks with a total of 26 undocumented Cambodian people onboard in hope to find jobs in Central Thailand.

They were rounded up at 4.30am following a tipoff about the Cambodian smuggling gang’s transport of illegal workers through Sa Kaew’s Aranyaprathet district to Bangkok.
The two truck drivers Panupong Khamkreung and Kornkrit Srikaew were also arrested and claimed they were hired by an unnamed investor to pick up the workers to send them to Bangkok.
