A total of 2,493 cases of hand-foot-and-mouth disease have been detected in Bangkok from January to May, a senior Bangkok Metropolitan Administration official said Tuesday.
Duangporn Pinjisekhikul, director of the BMA’s Disease Control Department, said most of the patients were children under four years old.
She said the cases rose by 51 per cent or from the number of 1,664 cases of the same period last year.
