Police break up Malaysian call-centre scam
Fourteen Malaysians
Police were working on a tip-off from locals about some foreigners indulging in suspicious activities at a house in Tambon Sansai Noi, citing monthly electricity bills of Bt20,000 and as much as 300GB Internet usage. Other than charges of racketeering and working without permission that all the suspects faced, the alleged leader Chin Kiat Yong, 30, faces an additional charge of possessing yaba pills, while two other Malaysians were charged with illegal entry.
