Dhammachayo Capturing Operation delayed until after monks' lunch

The Department of Special Investigation announced that its operation to capture Dhammakaya Temple abbot Phra Dhammachayo will be delayed until the monks inside the temple finish their lunch.

Normally Buddhist monks have their lunch as the last meal of the day from 11 am to 12 pm.
DSI deputy chief Suriya Singhakamol held a press conference at Gate 7 of the temple that the officials failed to enter the temple through Gate 5 although leading monks of the temple had already agreed to let the officials inside in line with a search warrant issued by the Criminal Court Wednesday evening.
DSI officials and accompanying monks spent some 20 minutes to talk to Dhammachayo's followers at Gate 5 to no avail. The followers insisted that no officials would be allowed to enter the temple to arrest the abbot because he is seriously ill.
After the failure of talk with the followers, the DSI officials returned to Gate 7 to hold a  press conference.
