Police officers on Sunday barred an opening ceremony of anti-fraud centers to monitor charter referendum across the country by red-shirt supporters.

United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) initially planned to live broadcast the kick off of its fraud-monitoring centers nationwide through its TV channel " Peace TV."
The on air time was scheduled Sunday 10am at the Imperial World shopping centre in Bangkok's Lat Phrao area where  the station's studio is located.
However, the police led by Chokchai Police Station chief  Pol Col Supol Kamchu arrived at the station at 9am. They asked the red-shirt activists not to broadcast or hold any activity claiming that it would breach an order of the National Council for Peace and Order which bans political gathering of five people and more.
The red-shirt activists were asked to get out of the studio before the police then occupied and guarded the activity venue.
