Police are questioning more witnesses to find out about the death of an official from the Bhutanese Embassy who was found electrocuted on a house fence in Bangkok’s Wang Thong Lang district early yesterday.

Police said Bhutanese finance official Sangay Dorji, 48, and a friend had withdrawn cash from an ATM twice on the same day. Wang Thong Lang superintendent Pol Colonel Thammanoon Boonriang said police suspected Dorji tried to reach the ATM again by taking a short cut climbing over his Bhutanese neighbours’ houses. But he grabbed on to a metal power pole that had a power leakage, resulting in his death.
