SET Index ends at 1,496.90pts

The Stock Exchange of Thailand Index ended at 1,496.90 points on Tuesday.
The Index gained 4.38 points or 0.29 per cent on turnover of Bt50.7 billion. However, it was far from recouping Monday loss, when the Index fell by 28.96 points or 1.90 per cent.
Asia Plus Securities expected limited recovery today. It did not expect the SET Index to exceed 1,510 points.
Foreigners were net sellers of Thai shares today, at Bt821 million. From the beginning of this year when the Index has gained nearly 16 per cent, foreign net buys were tuned at Bt117.4 billion.
