Prayut hints Uttama to become digital economy minister

Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha gave a strong hint Wednesday that ex-information and communications minister Uttama Savanayana would become the minister in charge of the new Digital for Economy and Society Ministry.
Uttama has resigned pave way for the establishment of a “Digital for Economy and Society Ministry” to replace the ICT Ministry.
Prayut said Uttama has been engineering the changes at the ICT ministry for the establishment of the new digital economy ministry so the changes would be like the change of the ministry’s name and internal restructuring
