Nobel Prize in Medicine goes to Japanese cell biologist Ohsumi
Stockholm - Japanese scientist Yoshinori Ohsumi wins the 2016 Nobel Prize in Medicine.
He won the prize for the discoveries of mechanisms for autophagy, a fundamental process for degrading and recycling cellular components, the Karolinska Institute says.
