Hillary Clinton calls for Americans to `lift each other up'

Washington - Democrat Hillary Clinton denounces the negative tone of the US presidential election and calls for Americans to instead "lift each other up."
"Our country really is great because we are good," she says in opening remarks at a second presidential debate. "We are going to respect each other and lift each other up."
Instead, of tearing each other down, America should set common goals across party lines.
"If we set those goals and we go together to try to achieve them there's nothing together America can't do," she says.
