Draft to be submitted to PM Tuesday

THE CONSTITUTION Drafting Commission plans to submit the charter draft to Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha Tuesday after it finished revising it following the Constitutional Court ruling.
The CDC will then get back to working on the contentious point concerning the introduction of primary voting in the new political party bill so that it can table the bill, along with Election Commission (EC)’s own bill governing itself, for the National Legislative Assembly to deliberate on shortly after the promulgation of the new charter, said CDC chief Meechai Ruchupan Monday.
The charter is scheduled to be submitted at 8.59am at Government House.
