Great number of people wait for royal procession around Siriraj

Thousands of people in black are waiting on footpaths around the Siriraj Hospital to pay respect to His Majesty during the procession of His Majesty's body from the hospital to the Dusit Throne Hall inside the Grand Palace.
The procession will start at 1 pm.
By 9:30 am, large number of people have already occupied the footpaths. Police had to tell them not to sit on the roads.
Vendors also distributed free foods and drinks to the waiting people.
The hospital has shut its gate and it allowed only people with activities inside the hospital to enter the compound.
