Celebrations nationwide honour Princess Mother Srinagarindra
Agencies across the country have organised activities in honour of the 116th anniversary of the birth of the late Princess Srinagarindra.
At Princess Mother Memorial Park, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration permanent secretary Phattarut Thadtranon Tanthanon yesterday co-chaired the opening of an event in honour of the Princess Mother. It comprised the giving of alms to 72 monks and an exhibition on the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s work in honour of the Princess Mother.
In Yala province, members of a local health network offered alms to nine monks at the Boromarajonani College of Nursing in remembrance of the Princess Mother’s contributions to the country’s medical sector. Her Royal Highness was born on October 21, 1900, and passed away on July 18, 1995.
