Agarwood chosen for royal funeral

The Royal Household Bureau has already selected four agarwood trees in the Kui Buri National Park for use in the royal funeral of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

The much-beloved king passed away at the age of 89 on October 13.
Senior officials from the bureau visited the national park in Prachuap Khiri Khan province yesterday to inspect the 19 trees selected by the park’s officials.
Of these trees, four have been selected.
These trees will be cut on Monday.
