Cambodian young leaders visit Prayut
A member of the Cambodian National Assembly and president of the Union Youth Federations of Cambodia, Hun Many, Friday led young leaders to meet Prime Minister General Prayut Chanocha at Government House.
Reaffirming relations between the two neighbouring countries, Prayut said the young leaders’ visit was in line with the Thai government’s agenda to focus on human resource development to enable progress of the Asean Community.
To deepen regional cooperation, Prayut said connectivity of all aspects –land, water and railways – should be encouraged for more peopletopeople relations and also to boost tourism and trade activities between the countries.
Prayut also accepted an invitation to join the 3rd Joint Cabinet Retreat between the two countries to be held early next year to pave the way for concretising bilateral relations.
Hun Many, the fourth child of Cambodian PM Hun Sen, also paid homage in front of the Royal Urn of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
