Thais in Egypt warned after blast killed 25 Friday

Thai Foreign Ministry has warned Thais in Egypt to stay abreast with news after a bombing at a chapel adjacent to Egypt's main Coptic Christian cathedal killed 25 people on Friday.

The ministry's Consular Affairs Department recommended Thais avoid the area.
Most of the victims of the explosion were women and children.
The Thais in need of help could contact Thai Embassy in Cairo at +2010 1940 1243 or the call centre of the department at 02 572 8442.
Egypt’s state-run news agency Mena reported that 12 kilograms of TNT explosives were used in the attack.
