Prem foundation donates Bt1m to govt flood-relief fund

Privy Council President General Prem Tinsulanonda has donated Bt1 million to the relief fund set up by the government for flood victims in the South.
Lt General Pisanu Putthawong, head of the General Prem Tinsulanonda Statesman Foundation, on Monday handed over Bt1 million to the Office of Prime Minister’s disaster relief fund.
Prime Minister General Prayuth Chanocha said the money would add to public donations for flood victims.
“This amount will top up the money we received from people. We’re considering what we’re going to do with the fund. The money reflected the care the senior [figure] of our country had [for fellow countrymen], which I really appreciated,” said the prime minister.
