7th Money Expo Pattaya sees Bt16bn in financial transactions
The 7th Money Expo Pattaya, which was held during February 17-19, generated Bt16 billion worth of transactions, led by housing loan of more than Bt10 billion, according to chairman of the event, Santi Wiriyarungsarit.
Applications for financial transactions during three days reached 20,949, creating transactions of Bt15.88 billion, while investment and savings products have attracted more than 21,000 accounts.
Home loans remains the popular credit products due to the attractive campaigns including the zero interest rate. New housing loan and refinance recorded Bt10.36 billion worth of transactions.
SMEs loan is the second highest loan applications at of Bt2.92 billion due to the special rates in the expo. SMEs who interested in the lending are real estate, hotels, apartment and services.
