NLA to review leave forms of seven members

The National Legislative Assembly (NLA) would look into the past leave forms submitted by seven NLA members who are accused of taking leave beyond the number of days allowed, including the Prime Minister’s brother and former Defence Permanent Secretary General Preecha Chan-o-cha.

NLA Vice President Peerasak Porjit said he has been assigned to probe into an allegation against them, and would wrap the initial probe by February 24.
If they have taken leave beyond the limit, their NLA membership would be nullified immediately.
The seven members are also subject to a probe into their work ethics, Peerasak said.
