The local airline, led by President Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, today (Monday) receives the new Air Operation Certificate (AOCs) from Chula Sukmanop, director general of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand.
Puttipong said that at Bangkok Airways, safety is the very core of our value-offer to our customers, partners in the industry and our employees. After being reviewed and examined our safety standards by the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand since September 12, last year, Bangkok Airways managed to pass all five steps of inspections and measurements and become the first airline in Thailand to receive this new air operation certificate.
“Receiving this certificate demonstrates that Bangkok Airways’ operational management and control systems are rising up to the highest standards and is internationally recognized which also aligns with our safety mission that is to continually maintain worldwide industry international safety standards. We would also like to express our sincere thanks to all participating parties, especially the Ministry of Transport and the Civil Authority of Thailand who are working very hard in improving the level of Thai aviation safety standards,” added Puttipong.
