The Thai-Belgian flyover near Bangkok's Lumpini Park will be closed for repair for 45 days after the structure was severely damaged by a blaze that broke out in garbage bins underneath Tuesday morning, Engineering Institute of Thailand secretarygeneral Amorn Pimanmas said.

Engineers and officials would check which metal beams were severely damaged and must be replaced, he said adding the replacement parts would be from those of the now-demolished Ratchayothin flyover.
