Cabinet to conider service facility bill

The Cabinet on Tuesday would consider a service facility bill aimed to lessen redundant law enforcements on service, medical and entertainment facilities to maintain the country’s morality, culture and tradition.

The Finance Ministry also proposed a cooperative bill draft and guideline to reform management and regulations of savings and credit cooperatives and credit union cooperatives. This would be in a bid to protect interests and prevent consequences from the cooperatives toward people in general and the country’s economic system.
The Cabinet would also consider a wildlife conservation bill draft, proposed by the Natural Resources and Environment Ministry, to increase penalties against poachers and owners of reserved wild animals and add a provisional clause to help long-time residence in wildlife sanctuaries.
The Ministry also purposed a national park bill draft to prohibit all activities that would cause impacts to the parks. Violators would face 2- 15 years of imprisonment or fines of Bt 50,000-200,000.
