Siriraj Hospital unveils medicine-dispensing robot
Bangkok’s Siriraj Hospital has become the country’s first hospital to utilise an automatic medicine-dispensing robot, it was announced on Wednesday.
Eight such robots will be used at the hospital’s medicine dispensary by the end of the year, the hospital said.
The machine provides medicine to patients within 15 minutes and with a 100 per cent accuracy rate, the hospital said a press conference on Wednesday where a demonstration of the robot was conducted.
