Pheu Thai to query whether tax paid on Prawit cheques
Pheu Thai party lawyer Ruangkrai Leekitwattana said on Sunday he would file a petition to the Revenue Department to look into its records to see whether tax was collected from Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwan’s cheques.
Ruangkrai claimed that there was one particular cheque for Bt1 million that Prawit reported to the National Anti-Corruption Commission in 2008.
He said he would submit the petition to the department tomorrow.
