Govt super committee reaches out to business leaders

The government’s super committee on reform, reconciliation and national strategy has been in talks with young business leaders, hoping they can contribute to its work, said the committee’s secretary Suvit Maesincee on Monday.

Suvit said committee representatives had solicited ideas that it would submit to the committee. The Biz Club, representing about 8,000 businesspeople, will meet the committee’s members tomorrow. They have been asked to help to figure out how to steer the country’s economy, Suvit said.
The committee also plans to meet community leaders nationwide, Suvit added.
