Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has issued an order moving Pol Colonel Seehanat Prayoonrat, an adviser to the Anti-Money Laundering Office, as AMLO is currently investigating the Klongchan Credit Union Cooperative case.

The PM’s order said that Seehanat will temporarily serve as an expert adviser to the prime minister at the PM’s Office, under Deputy PM Wissanu Krea-ngam.
It explained that the reshuffle was to “facilitate” investigation into the multi-billion-baht embezzlement scandal.
The reshuffle follows investigations into the scandal not only by AMLO but also by the National Anti-Corruption Commission, the source said.
