A fire broke out at a Big C department store in Bangkok's Saphan Kwai neighbourhood at about 2.30pm on Sunday.

Video taken at the scene showed thick smoke emanating from the back room of the store in Phaya Thai district.
Firefighters reportedly had the blaze under control by about 2.50pm.
