ALRO secretary-general Sompong Inthong said on Monday that land amounting to about 100,000 rai would be distributed before the end of September.
Landless farmers in Surat Thani, Kanchanaburi, Chiang Mai, Nakhon Ratchasima, Chon Buri and Saraburi provinces are among the first batch of beneficiaries, according to the plan.
The land plots for allocation were seized under an order from the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO), issued under Article 44 of the Interim Constitution.
