BMA trains officials to deal with bombs

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) hosted a training session for its 7,000 Thesakij law-enforcement officials and volunteers at the Bangkok Youth Centre (Thai-Japan) on Sunday to boost security in 50 districts.

Explosive Ordnance Disposal specialists provided information to Thesakij officials, city sweepers and security volunteers about essential steps to be taken when suspicious items possibly containing explosives are discovered and how to monitor suspicious behaviour.
