WARRI - Gunmen stormed a Catholic church in a town in southeast Nigeria early Sunday, killing 12 worshippers, hospital sources said.

The attack took place at around 6am at St. Philip's church in Ozubulu, near the port city of Onitsha on the Niger River, witnesses said.
